Congregational Consultation
For the past four years, CORE Ministries has begun each meeting with a
specific church by asking the members, "When have you seen God at work
within this congregation?" The members would tell stories to answer that
question and, from there, we would begin to discern core values, purpose,
and mission. It is an exciting exercise that never fails to raise the energy level
of a church. It also is the starting point for prayerfully analyzing where the church is falling short of its values, as well as building a vision of ministry that will more fully realize them
This consultation process is an adaptation of Appreciative Inquiry (AI). Applying AI to other conversational leadership tools has resulted in a positive and highly effective way to discover needs and solutions for your growing, vital congregation.
YES, YOUR CHURCH IS ALREADY VITAL! That is the very first principle that CORE Ministries brought to each church it has helped and it continues to be the foundation of all we do. Your church is vital! You have received strength, grace, guidance, faith, hope, and love within that congregation. You have found God there. This is true or you would not care enough to be seeking to make your congregation more dynamic and effective.

STEWARDSHIP SERVICES
CORE Ministries can offer in-house STEWARDSHIP EDUCATION AND CONSULTATION personalized for your congregation. Lead your church to understand both the responsibility and the great joy God gives us as faithful stewards. Plan a financial campaign created specifically for your members and situation.
Fees for CORE Congregational Consultation are $60 per hour in session ($60 minimum) plus travel.
There is an additional $50 fee for a written evaluation with recommendations to the congregation.
Current auto reimbursement is 50.5 cents per mile.
