Goal-Specific Coaching . . . G-S-C
Goal-Specific Coaching connects you with individualized, personal training sessions to increase your effectiveness in ministry. This is personal coaching, focusing on YOU and the unique ways you feel called to grow in your service for Christ. They are scheduled in two to five individual sessions, although you are welcome to contract for more.
CURRENT OFFERINGS IN G-S-C
PREACHING G-S-C: One worship visit plus three coaching sessions
1. Ed Varnum will visit your church during a worship service of your choosing. Your sermon will be video recorded and a meeting will be scheduled with Ed to view and discuss the message together.
2. At your first session, Ed will facilitate as you create goals for preaching preparation and delivery.
3. Two coaching sessions will follow toward reaching your goals for excellence in preaching.
Total cost: $300 plus travel for meetings over 30 miles from Columbia (50.5 cents a mile)
WORSHIP G-S-C: One worship visit plus three coaching sessions
1. Ed Varnum will visit your church during a worship service of your choosing. The service will be video recorded and a meeting will be scheduled with Ed to view and discuss the service together.
2. At your first session, Ed will facilitate as you create goals for your worship service.
3. Two coaching sessions will follow, including development of leadership strategies for reaching goals.
Total cost is $300 plus travel for meetings over 30 miles from Columbia (50.5 cents a mile)
FUNERAL AND GRIEF MINISTRY: Three sessions
1. Coaching on what to do in visits with the family and bringing these visits to your funeral preparation
2. Writing the funeral meditation, creating the service
3. Conducting the funeral and follow-up ministry with family and friends
Total cost is $225 plus travel for meetings over 30 miles from Columbia (50.5 cents a mile)
