CORE Seminars

Your church or organization can host any of the following seminars for

a community or denominational event. CORE Ministries can also bring

an "in-house" seminar especially to train leaders in your church.

Seminars are generally held for one day, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Shorter workshop versions of this training is also offered, as well as schedules for extended meetings such as leadership retreats. Click on the title for more information and testimonies from those who have attended that workshop.
This seminar will guide church members through a process of determining the core values and central purposes of their congregation. The final session will lead participants through a process of writing the draft of a mission statement for their church. This seminar can also focus on individual values and purpose, leading to the drafting of a personal mission statement.
The Christian leader is a servant leader. This seminar explores each Christian's potential in ministry to serve, influence, and impact this world for Christ. There is special emphasis on the ministry and servant leadership of the laity.
This seminar explores the three directions for a vital congregation. Your congregation will discover ways it can grow toward God's unique call for that church in this time and place.
Practical scriptural insights are offered toward growing in faith, hope, and love as a disciple of Jesus Christ. Although helpful and inspirational throughout the year, this seminar was created for personal reflection and devotional direction during the Lenten season.
Stop stewing and start doing faithful, Biblical stewardship, personally and as a congregation. The final session will offer specific plans to teach Biblical stewardship principles with campaigns to increase congregational giving in service and financial support of ministries.
Discern your church's unique witness voice and how individual members can more effectively share their faith. The final session will lead the congregation to develop a specific evangelistic plan to reach into their community with the Good News.
Discover "What I Bring" (personal preparation and devotional life), "What We Have" (understanding worship in this congregation and how it can more fully engage those attending), "What We Need" (understanding people and your community, with possible considerations should you decide to start an alternative service).
Cost for a CORE Ministries Workshop (2-3 hours) is $200-250 plus travel.
A full seminar (5-6 hours) is $500 plus travel. Auto reimbursement is presently 50.5 cents per mile.
